    • Helping Mothers to be independent

    It is planned to create a source of income by producing Low priced baby diaper and girls sanitary pads, at the same time developing the experience that allows the single moms to enter into the market.

    Geferssa Water Rehabilitation Center. Wag Himra Livelihood Project.

    Water & Sanitation (Geffersa)

    Geffersa Rehabilitation Center is a 27 hectare facility located 22 km away from Addis Ababa. It is inevitably necessary to dig a deep well with a minimum depth of 200m to ensure the water supply reliability for the entire consumption. However, the GRC is unfortunately not in a position to cover the cost of the water well project at the moment. RTG is currently working as a consultant, collaboration with other international and local NGO's in these project.

    Livelihood Project (Shewarobit)

    In this program , 45 women have been included and given 3000-5000 birr each as a soft loan to start their small business careers.
    On top of that, 26 other young ladies who are presently working with bars and restaurants are recruited to be trained so as to be able to generate incomes for living. They will soon begin the training by supporting them with pocket money for their basic needs.

    Education (Shewarobit)

    30 Computer sets with accessories are bought for Shewa-Robit high school. The Equipments have been donated by RTG International at the end of 2022 .
    RTG is working rigourously in collaboration with Camara Education to provide access to educational tools and materials for the children that have been affected by the conflict.

    Cooperative (Debreberhan)

    RTG has started a joint venture program in collaboration with Muluwengel Church to support very vulnerable single mothers in the town of Debreberhan. Thus, 20 women who are in extreme poverty have been trained in sewing clothes. The business plan is prepared in such a way that it will enable them to become self reliant & self Sufficent for themselves by creating a source of income.

    Technical Support (Shewarobit & Ataye)

    RTG has been providing helping hands to the needy ones whenever and wherever necessary. With this motto in mind, The technical supports have been provided to Shewarobit clinic and Ataye hospital respectively. Spare parts were bought in Sweden & brought to Ethiopia to restore the power generator of Ataye hospital.
